On August 3, we're opening up our doors for you to Learn What The Data School Learns! Come along for a morning of hands-on Alteryx training, with four different sessions from our Data School consultants in DSNY4.Â
You will require a laptop with Alteryx installed to follow along with the training. If you don't have an Alteryx license, don't worry, we'll send you a link to download a free trial!
We have limited spaces available so make sure you get your RSVP in ASAP to guarantee a slot. If you want to complete a full day of training, we also have four Tableau sessions taking place in the afternoon. You can sign up for the Tableau event here.
This training session will provide an overview of Alteryx. Learn about the Alteryx user interface, connecting to data sources, common data types used, and exploring data in Alteryx. The focus will be on the basics of the Alteryx user interface and connecting to data types and will be a great starting point for participants new to Alteryx.
This training session will provide an introduction to Alteryx's data aggregation tools. Learn how to consolidate and summarize data sets effortlessly with the summarize tool and perform calculations with the versatile formula tool. Enhance your data manipulation skills and unlock the true potential of data analysis using Alteryx.
This training session will focus on data structure transformation in Alteryx, centering on the cross tab and transpose Tools. Participants will gain comprehensive expertise in utilizing Alteryx's data transformation tools to effectively reshape and reorganize data, aligning it with specific analysis requirements. Additionally, participants will develop an understanding of data structures, strengthening their data manipulation skills.
This session will cover the process of connecting data from multiple sources within Alteryx. Attendants will learn about the different types of joins and unions offered in Alteryx and how they give you the ability to create a single dataset. By the end you will learn the difference between unions and joins and how to implement both tools in a way that help build complex relationships seamlessly.
